Beam design basic steps using eurocode 2

Design Aids for Eurocode 2: Design of concrete structuresStep 01
Find K, K=M/ (b*d2*fck)
Step 02
Find K’,  K’=0.60δ-0.18δ^2-0.21 where δ<=1
Step 03
Find whether  K<=K’
Designers' Guide to EN 1992 Eurocode 2: Design of concrete structures. Part 2: concrete bridges (Designers' Guides to the Eurocodes)If K<=K’ No compression reinforcement required
Step 04
Find lever arm   Z  = (d/2)*{1+ (1-3.53K) ^.5} <=0.95d
Designers Guide to EN 1992-1-1 and EN 1992-1-2 Eurocode 2: Design of Concrete Structures. General rules and rules for buildings and structural fire designStep 05
Find tension reinforcements  As=M/fy*d*z
Step 06
Check minimum reinforcement and maximum reinforcements
As min= 0.26(fctm)*(bt)*d/fyk  wher fck >=25
As max = 0.04Ac
If K > K’ in step 03
Find Z = (d/2)*{1+ (1-3.53K’) ^.5}
Find compressing reinforcement required
As2 = (K-K’)*(fck)*b*d2/[fsc*(d-d2)]
Where fsc = 700[(x-d2)/x] <=fyd
Find tension reinforcement
As = (K’*fck*b*d2/fyd*z)+As2*(fsc/fyd)
Check minimum reinforcement and maximum reinforcements from above mention equations
